Premier League Weekly Breakdown

The Premier League is in full flow with teams having played 8 or 9 games in the league. Matchday 10 provided some fantastic, high scoring games. 

Newcastle ran out 5-1 winners at home against travelling Brentford in the early kick off on Saturday. A sunning display by the Magpies in from of their home fans. 

AFC Bournemouth won 2-1 against struggling Leicester, another loss for Brendan Rodgers sees them rooted to the bottom of the table. 

Man City carried on their fine form with a 4-0 win at home to Southampton. Erling Haaland with another goal for Pep Guardiola's team. He now has 20 Manchester City goals in all competitions. 

Chelsea beat struggling Wolves 3-0, Chelsea are revitalised after the appointment of Graham Potter, beating AC Milan twice in the Champions League either side of the Wolves game. Wolves are looking to rebuild after sacking their manager.

Spurs won 1-0 away to Brighton in a tightly fought match. Harry Kane scoring again to seal the win for Tottenham. 

West Ham United beat Fulham 3-1 at home, after going 1-0 down they fought back to win the game convincingly in the end. Scamacca, the new summer signing getting on the score sheet.

Crystal Palace played Leeds United at home and ran out 2-1 winners, Eze with a stunning goal from Zaha's assist to win the game for Patrick Viera's side. 

Arsenal beat title competitors Liverpool 3-2 at home at the Emirates, a fantastic game that propelled Arsenal back to the top of the table one place clear of Manchester City. Goals from Martinelli and a brace from Bukayo Saka sealed the win for The Gunners.

Manchester United travelled to Everton and came away with all 3 points in a 2-1 victory. Summer star signing Antony scoring in his 3rd consecutive game, that's 3 goals in 3 Premier League games for the Brazilian and Cristiano Ronaldo with his 700th club goal in his career sealed the away win for Ten Haag's men. 

Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa played out the only draw of the weekend in a game that ended 1-1 on MNF, a share of the spoils for two teams that are teetering near the bottom of the table.
