Premier League Week 4 Roundup

It was an exciting weekend in the Premier League with some extraordinary results, Arsenal holding their position at the top of the table with a 100% record and Liverpool won their first game of the season against Bournemouth.

Southampton vs Manchester United, Man U won their second game in a row with a 1-0 victory. A goal from Bruno Fernandez sealed all 3 points with a great finish after a good cross.

Chelsea vs Leicester City, Chelsea with a hard fought win against a Leicester side that has struggled this season. Chelsea with an early red card issued to Conor Gallagher battled for the win with 10 men, two goals from Raheem Sterling.

Brighton vs Leeds United, a 1-0 win for Brighton against a Leeds United side that has started the season well, an even game was separated by a Pascal Groß goal, that sees Brighton move up into the top 4 above Leeds United. 

The Champions, Manchester City have started the season the way they expected. A 4-2 win over Crystal Palace, Palace roared ahead to a 2-0 lead before half time. Manchester City with a fantastic fight back in the second half with an Erling Haaland hattrick. 

Liverpool vs Bournemouth. The match of the weekend, Liverpool coming away with a 9-0 win against newly promoted Bournemouth. A match truly dominated by Liverpool and it has seen Scott Parker sacked by Bournemouth in the days after. 

Brentford vs Everton, a share of the spoils with a 1-1 draw in this match. A late equaliser from Brentford in this even game. 

Arsenal vs Fulham, Arsenal maintain their position at the top of the table with a 2-1 win over Fulham. Mitrović scoring the opener for Fulham before Ødegaard and Gabriel Magalhães scored the goals for Arsenal. 

Wolves vs Newcastle, another 1-1 draw in the Premier League, Rúben Neves scoring for Wolves and after having a goal disallowed for a foul in the build up, Allan Saint-Maximin scoring a wonderful volley in the 90th minute to rescue a point for Newcastle. 

Aston Villa vs West Ham, both teams have struggled to start this season, West Ham scoring their first goal of their season with Pablo Fornals grabbing the winner to break their 3 game losing streak. 

Nottingham Forest vs Tottenham Hotspur, Spurs winning 2-0 against a valiant Nottingham Forest. Harry Kane scoring both goals as well as missing a penalty to miss out on his hattrick.
