Premier League Round-up

A weekend full of acton packed games, the highlight being the last game this weekend Liverpool hosting Manchester City. 

Brentford played Brighton to open the weekend of games in the Friday night match this weekend, Brentford coming out 2-0 victors with a brace from Ivan Toney. 

Leicester City and Crystal Palace played out a bore draw in the game that ended 0-0.

Wolves won the battle of the bottom in a 1-0 victory against Nottingham Forest. 

The two newly promoted teams Fulham and Bournemouth drew 2-2 in an exciting game, both mid table teams at the moment and will be happy with the share of points.

Tottenham beat Everton 2-0. Spurs are a team in good form but that will be tested in the coming games with the next 2 against Manchester United and Newcastle United. 

Southampton shared the points with West Ham United, the game finishing in a 1-1 draw on the South coast. 

Manchester United and Newcastle United drew 0-0 at Old Trafford in a highly controversial game. VAR played a big role and could have changed the result either way with one call however the games ended without either team scoring. 

Arsenal maintained their position at the top of the table with a 1-0 win away to Leeds United. Arsenal weren't at their best in the game with Leeds having a number of good chances but Arsenal walk away with 3 points from a Bukayo Saka goal.

Chelsea beat Aston Villa 2-0. Graham Potter's side carrying on their run of good form after he got appointed the job. 

Liverpool and Manchester City played arguably the game of the season so far. Liverpool coming out with a 1-0 win against the reigning Champions. A highly contested game with chances at both ends. If you have 90 minutes spare and love football i recommend you watch a replay. The game had everything.
