Congratulations Manchester City

Manchester City have won the Premier League. After a hard fought challenge from Arsenal all season, Manchester City eventually overtook The Gunners with a few games left in the season. In the end the strength of The Citizens squad paid dividends, fighting in three competitions is hard for any team however the depth of the Manchester City squad has made it look easy at times and with superstars like Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan performing when they needed it most they dominated the final stages of the Premier League and eventually winning the league by 5 points. 

Since they won the Premier League they have the FA Cup Final against Manchester United. They won the match 2-1 in the highly anticipated Manchester Derby at Wembley. The match sprung into life 15 seconds in with a fantastic volley scored by the superstar Ilkay Gundogan. The match evened out a little and Manchester United came back into the game through a highly controversial penalty from Bruno Fernandes. Eventually Manchester City regained the lead with another vollet from Ilkay Gundogan and went onto win the match 2-1. 

Pep Guardiola finally acknowledged after the game that the treble is very much a possibility whereas before he never entertained the possibility. They now have one more final to play in the Champions League against Inter Milan.

This will be seen as one of the greatest teams in Premier League history and if they complete the treble they might well be seen as the best Premier League Team in history.
